Default MSSA Broadneck Chapter Meeting Last Monday

I just wanted to extend a "Thank You" to Captain Charlie Schneider of the Big Will (out of Tilghman) for speaking at our last meeting. Charlie has been out with us a couple of times so he had some timely information on fishing conditions. He also gave a handout containing his 11 rod spread for spring trolling. He uses spreader bars in place of umbrellas, and his eel tail teasers create quite a bit of "attraction" in the water. Maybe most impressive was a clear 9 inch shad with mylar imbedded in it. He said it was a proven performer last season, and I got a look at it the next day in the water. My Captain said, get me some of those.
Both Skip and Ralph (Reelsmith) were also there and you could pick their brains about areas Skip is fishing or reel repairs with Ralph.
The beer is cold and the information helpful. Try to make the next meeting.
5th (Marty)
