One of the things I liked about spending time in Florida was the different selection of boats. It was neat to see local manufacturers and the different ways boats were set up.

I spent a fair amount of time fishing the gulf on a 24' Lake and Bay center console with a tower on it. Pretty popular down there; never sen one up here and certainly don't see many centerconsoles being driven around the Chesapeake from an upper helm station.

Lots of boats using powerpoles down there to anchor in the shallows. I fished with a guy named Ben Chancey and he had one on that 24' I mentioned.

And yeah.....being somewhere warm would be nice too.

Heck no I don't want to be in Miami I have my old boat (22' walkaround) for sale at the PSG Fleamarket. I'm looking foreward to standing around for two days in snow showers and 30* temperatures

Somebody please come buy my boat

You have to do it once.. Its just a flotilla of every boat imaginable. From the little 18 CC to the Mega Yachts.. I probably did it 10 years ago. It just happened to coincide with a trip to the Keys. So I made a " left" instead of a "right". Guess the biggest problem was getting out of there, the Heat had a game that afternoon, and most of the show is right behind their Arena

Brian; so that's how you landed on the "left". I always wondered
