Default Best spring trip

Left dock yesterday at 0900 and headed for love point in a pretty good chop. Began fishing moth side of Chester river and was marking a good amount of bait. Fished the area for a couple hours but started easing a little south looking for a little better clarity. Just past LP buoy rigger clip pops and it's the first of eight, that's right eight slot fish would would catch. Went awhile with no bites
And was getting late so we Baganda clearing lines for the day when the short rigger clip goes off and finally an over if 45". Skinny looking fish. When cleaning the fish we found no eggs but quite a few very large partially digested elwives in its belly.
