Default My Faith in our Rockfish Fishery Has Been Restored

Probably temporary, but none the less, WHAT A DAY !!!!!

0300 leave house for Cambridge. )
0500 Pick up the LEGEND, Calpn Trayt
0700 Meet BFF's for life Hensley and Phil at Dock, with super duper all stars
Jamie, Rich and future President of the United States, ( democrat, hopefully) Shawn Kimbro, waiting to follow us out, on a beautiful 25' Parker.

0800 Gannets, Gannets and more Gannets, these fluffy white balls of feathers were having more fun than a bird should be able to have.

0801, underneath said Gannets, beautiful, HEALTHY, CLEAN, FEISTY, and HUNGRY Morone Saxatilis lurked....

1400 - after catching and releasing for more than 6 hours, arms are burning, heart is pumping, smiles all around.....

2000 - Home.. SHOWER required... Dinner waiting.. and a very icy cold mug of Torpedo Ale

At least for today, I am one happy camper.....

Not that it matters cause good fishing is good fishing....but any size to the fish?

I haven't been able to fish birds for a year now because they seemed to NEVER come north of the bridge

What were you throwing into the birds that the fish liked to bite?

I heard there were fish somewhere. I am sure none of them were harmed.

Not of the fish....I've seen plenty of those. I want pictures of the damn birds so I can remember what they look like.

Any chance you can edit your post to eliminate the number of fish?

Even in cold water some are killed. And bragging about numbers will do nothing but cause problems at some point. thanks.

Have a moderator delete my post if its a problem. This is why I dont post reports very often. Someone is always bitching and moaning about it.

Bend-Lure; thanks for the post. Keep them coming.

I'd hate to get to the point where our fishing posts are reduced to: "Caught some fish today, someplace on the bay, with some type of lure."
