Default Epic red drum bite

Charter backed out for Saturday's trip, so Capt. Harry & I went fun fishin south of the target ship. Live lined for a little bit, but lack of rockfish and too many bluefish made it a little tough. Got what we needed and saved the bait for another day. Ran to the spot and set out the trollin spread for some blues and spanish. 5th fish on was the one. Took drag like a mack truck. 10 minutes later had a 40lb red drum in the boat. Pat on the head and over the side to be caught another day. Pulled all the small stuff and put out #2 and 3 planers with larger spoons. For the next 4 1/2 hours it was all u wanted. Ended up 18 for 28 on red's. Largest was 57lbs. Had um boiling and airing out around the boat. Pushing 5lb buefish 5' in the air.
