Default LP Buoy 4/5/2012

I did not get out when I wanted to but finally made it to the boat around 2:30 or so. Ed and I headed to the LP Buoy and deployed our 6 rod spread.

Depending on the moment we had either 3 or 4 rods on the boards, 1 was always on the downrigger, 1 WWB rod with a 21 tony/ white chute and 1 or 2 other boat rods.

It took us until 6 PM to break the ice for the 2012 season, but we got a fiesty 32-34" fish in the bucktail on the WWB rod.

We pulled the rods at 7:05 and made it back to the dock at 8 PM. Not a great day but got the skunk off the boat for the season.

Thanks. Looking forward to next weekend and maybe add a couple more fish and build on this success.
