Had me one of them 40 gallon days also. Sailed from the South River to #78 and set up shop in that area. Worked hard to catch our limit of 2.........Mark

Mark, Despite how fuel efficient our boats are, they still get better fuel mileage behind a truck

I may make one more trip south next week. Probably Solomons but PLO isnt out of the question. If any of you guys are up for the trip, let me know!

After that it is chumming and jigging until the live lining gets good (which is the most fun in my book!)

F*%K you guys and those single four strokes

Luckily my fuel totalizer goes three digits and credit card has high limit.

Oh well , gotta pay to play this game.

Congrats on making the long run pay off - crazy how fish some times prefer boards or boat rods.

Not rubbing it in Skip, but this is from a 10 hour trip this spring (short run to the fish helped a lot) .....

Skip, I already did the 30' boat with 11' beam and twin engines... luckily I went back to a trailerable single 4 stroke before gas went through the roof. I dont envy your fuel bills

My 1998 Pro-line 2950

Marty, boats are less expensive to swap out than wives..

I owned that boat from 2003-2005. Sold it to get the Maycraft in 2005, which I sold to have the Judge built in 2008.

Before the 2950 I had a 1997 Pro-line 231, which I bought after moving up here from SC and getting married.

Here is the 231 I owned as she was up for sale (I already owned the 2950 and was a 2 boat owner at the time)

Before living in SC, I ran my family's 1970 John Allmand 23 out of Avalon NJ that was in the family since 1970.

My dad sold ithe Allmand to get his 27 Judge in 2006. Here is my dad's Judge:
