Timonium Show is this week Jan 13-16th
You can print a $2.00 off coupon from this site: http://www.fishingexpo.com/
Anyone going? I may try to stop by either Thursday or Friday.
Show kinda stunk the last several years but it is still a good time to get out of the house to look at fishing stuff

I am not normally negative. I went to almost every show the last two years, the Timonium show and Baltimore boat show were the worst. The boat show is a shadow of its past and not attended by many boat manufactures. However, if you are looking to get out of the house and spend some time looking at fishing guides, boats and charters then give it a whirl. The Timonium show does have great speakers. Another plus about Timonium is Andy Nelsons Barbeque is just down the street.

My wife is having a baby shower at our house Saturday for a friend. I am going to take my son and head up to the tomonium show for a few hours. I don't care what the show is like, it will be better than a 4 hour baby shower.

I'll be there Friday.
Anybody (other than Garlien) who comes up and says hi will get a free beer from me.
I'll be the 6'2 guy wearing the black Angler's Inn, Lake El Salto Mexico t shirt.
I too thought the show was a little disappointing last year, but it'll only get worse with less attendance. You have to adapt and learn how to have fun with what's there.

Did anybody buy anything at the show? I bought a dozen 9" shad, but that was it. Not a whole lot going on. I thought the fish/dog tank was pretty neat, and all the kids loved it. I tried to talk my neighbor into buying the 28' Parker, but he didn't bite.

I was there on Thursday and was very disappointed again. Seemed like even less tackle dealers than even last year. Shore tackle had a great display of rods and reels. Very few boat vendors too. Some glitter boats, grady, sea hunt, seafox, parker and one contender seemed like it all.
Baltimore boat show is this week I believe. I may try to stop by there this week.
