Default Jigging up north

My wife offered to go fishing with me Sunday since I didn't have anyone lined up to go. The fish seem to be moving northward so we jigged on some of the oyster bars above the Brewerton. I was trying to teach her how to jig a 3/4 oz. spoon and explaining that she needed to feel the lure on the drop because that is when the fish will bite. She did manage a few rock and perch before we decided to eat lunch and go in. All in all we managed about 20 rock up to 19" and about the same number of perch and a few blues. Mostly in 13 to 18 ft. Didn't keep any. It was just a fun day.

Bruce,
Don't be creeping around my neighborhood without dealing me in on some good detailed intel!!

Had a buddy hook and liner out all day (12 hours) yesterday trolling without a bite ( Sounds like he did catch at least a half dozen today though.)

Another H&L went today and never caught or marked a fish by 9:00 and called it a day with a skunk. Sounds like things are really slowing down off Rock Hall... And with the River Rock tourney a little more than a week away!!!
