Did a little survey yesterday. Trolled with planer boards, apparently to some thats not too sporty, caught several fish, and I timed how long it took to get the fish to the boat. Now some fish were caught 100 feet back and 150 out on board, every fish was boated within 1-2 minutes from the time the angler started reeling. The gear was 20-50 class 5' stand-up rods with 30 mono. (not broom sticks like many use)
All fish were 37-40" and there was no effort to get the fish to the boat quickly to reduce catch time.
If that stresses fish than we need to all use electric motors too!

Bill, I am really disturbed to see that the the grade of fish you are reporting has dropped so much.....all 40 and under?????? Say it ain't so! Is there something wrong with the Blue Moon???? More importantly, I hope that's not a Punxsutawney Phill kind of deal...protending small fish for all of us for the next six weeks.
