Default One fish, Two fish, Big fish, LITTLE FISH

What the heck; where did all these little fish come from? We must have caught 40 rockfish today. Many from 15-17 inches. We had to weed through a ton. Largest was 26 inches and had sea lice.
We hit all our productive areas from last week and had fish coming in two at a time off the spreaders, but most went back.
Last week, small fish were 21 inches, med fish 24 inches and big fish were 28 inches. I think they all went to structure so Jamie could catch them.
The good news is they weren't full of mayworms. While they did have some that they spitup/ they weren't stuffed like last week.

Most fish are still coming off the deep rods (where mayworms live). One good thing is they all look clean and myco free. South of the radar towers. What bait we did mark, didn't look like it had rock around it. Very few birds sitting and even fewer flying. It's almost like the rock aren't attacking the bait and driving it to the surface where the gulls can feed on scraps.
Can't wait for this mayworm hatch to subside. Maybe the rock are in very shallow water among the crabpots?

Later;
5th
