Default Surgical Tubes

Anyone use them ? If so, for trolling only ? Any other uses ? If so any particualr colors and/or setups that seem to work best ?

Works great for slingshots, otherwise, unless you're a junkie, I don't see much use.

They are good to troll for blues.....12" fluorescent orange for bigger blues especially at Pt. Lookout..........Gary

They work real good down on the bottom during the May Worm hatch.......the red about 8" have been the ticket the last few years.
Large black ones can be good in the early fall when the eels are moving a lot.
Otherwise they just take up room in the tackle drawer.

The only fish I have caught on them is blue fish. Mostly, they take up room in the tackle box and dry rot.

The few times I have been up to Montauck that have been almost automatic for 3 to 4 foot fish off the lighthouse there...

Guess its like everything else...What works in one place may not in another.....
