Default Eastern Shore Perch

It was close, but I resisted the urge to jump off the bridge after the VOLS lost by one to M. State today. I did feel the need to get out in the woods for awhile. I took along an ultralight spinning outfit and wound up along some Eastern shore backwater. The perch, both yellows and whites, were in a better mood than I was and feeding up before the rain. I threw a plastic grub on a safety pin spinner tipped with red or yellow felt strips that I soaked in a medicine bottle filled with oil of anise and superfine glitter. Yellows were close in amongst the brush and whites were out in the open water. I turned the neds loose but kept a dozen whites for dinner, oh and Crockett couldn't wait so he had one creekside. I had a hat camera and shot some video of the action.

Mans that looks like fun. End of this week should be a few great days to be out fishing.

Music = Infamous Stringdusters?

That does look like fun and even Crocket was looking to catch something.

Shawn, Looks fun, but all I kept thinking about was a tee shirt that some guy was waring last week. It said "I hear bango music, Paddle faster."

I enjoyed the video and music Shawn. My wife Dawn even peaked around the corner to see what I was watching and stopped to watch it with me. Thanks for taking the time to put that together....Don
