Default Late Sunday trolling report

Hey guys,
So. . . Got on the water real early dropped the throttle on flat calm seas and zoomed in the pitch dark to around bouy 72. Threw the boards in the water and started setting the first line, OOPS (^*&%^^&$&#% I forget the box with rubber bands and clips in the truck!!!!!

Zoomed back up the bay (30 miles) and got the box. By this time it was so late I just dropped everything in around 77. There were ten million boats by this time (7:45)

It was painfully slow but we finally ran over some fish that wanted to eat around 9:30. We took a couple swoops around them and got 6 bites an 4 fish in about a half hour turning tight circles. One was 41" The rest were 30somethings.

Reeled it all in around 10:15 and were at Roys by 11 for the beginning of lunch and home by 1 for the Redskins.

All in all an OK day. I think the trolling bite overall was tough Sunday.

Ouch! At least you picked up a few. You still got those picnic tables you call planer boards?

Sounds like you guys still had a good day. I'm sure you won't forget the rubber bands again, but if your on the water and need something give a shout on the radio. I was right at 72 and although I use scotty clips now, I still have a box of rubber bands on the boat. There are a lot of TF guys down that way that know you Try channel 68 or 19, I'm sure someone will try to help out.

Thanks for the report Francis. Sunday bite for us was also typical for a crowded weekend. We managed 6 bites with four fish landed. Good to finally meet you last night......................Mark

I thought about calling on the radio. I spoke to my charter captain buddies and they would have helped me out as well, but I just feel mroe comftorable with my trolling box. It has all my extra shads, stinger hooks, and leader as well.

It's like my teddy bear.

Try to get my boat in the shop this week. Then have to decided if I go to the CBBT or keep trolling.

Yeah, if my buddy wasn't with me I probably would have slept in the truck until Roys started serving lunch. . .
