Default Taking someone new fishing

When was the last time you took someone new fishing? I enjoy teaching new people how to fish in salt & fresh water. I also like to show them how to catch bait with a roller net , cast net, crab net, minnow trap. When was the last time you shown your kids how to catch soft crabs with a basket a tube and a net. Walking in grass beds in knee high water.

I enjoy watching young people catching lots of fish and having fun. THAT'S WHY I LOVE TO TEACH YOUNG PEOPLE HOW TO FISH and just maybe some day they may show someone how to fish and have fun.

I have a 9 year old Son and he hunts and fishes with me. I get much more joy from seeing him succeed than me. I learned it all on my own but what a jump he is going to have. Nothing like it.Good on you...........Gary

I wish I could find someone new to fish with...my two regular partners one moved to MT and one is just a giant douche and I only put up with him because we both hate everyone else....

oh, but this year I'll be taking my kids a lot to get away from a new screaming baby and hormonal wife

I love to take my son's "City Tough" friends out on the boat for a day fishing. First it's ewwwh that's gross then by the end they become "kids" again and forget to be tough bad a$$. End the fishing day diveing off the hard top swimming. once on land I'll cook up the days catch as they shower up 4 dinner and they most always are asleep half way through the movie they picked out. A couch full of sun pinked faces is great!

For some reason they all want to go to Mr. Ted's house for the weekend

I take my printing business customers fishing time to time. Some have never fished the bay before. My son will invite a friend from time to time too who never has fished before.

I have taken a couple of guys that work in my building that have never fished the bay before with me last year and they are already bugging me about taking them again this year. Nothing like seeing a guy whose biggest fish was a 2lb LM then end up catching a 25” striper.
