Default Slow bite above bridge

Fished Saturday - what a great day , weather wise. Calm bay and temps about 60*.

Trolled from bridge to Sandy Point light - snagged a 10-11 menhaden and saw pelicans. One flew into a line but luckily did not get wrapped in it.

Got a 19 on a Tony #15 silver back 125 with 6 ozs in 35 feet.

21 incher off white bucktail with 6 inch shad - 80 feet with 8 ozs in 55 feet.

20 incher off June Bug spoon brella green / white - 12 ozs back 80 feet.

Had one other hit - Tony 15 back 100 with 8 ozs.

Current was incoming when fish hit. Worked north as far as #13 but found most fish closer to bridge.

Ended up Perching near bridge in 45 feet with blood worms and 1 oz jigging spoons. Nice mix of 8-10 inchers with one 12 incher. Lot of Rock 12 to 17 inches as well.

Fished until 4:45 as sun was dropping below trees. Hated to go - not often see this weather in November.

Not too shabby. Personally, I've really lost track of the white perch lately. I've jigged a couple individuals while trying for rock, but assume there's a lot of big ones somewhere

Regarding those white perch - I guess I do better with dumb luck than trying to figure them out?

Found a nice class of white perch this morning; 11-13" (yes - ). I was actually scouting for pickerel, casting along shores in 3' deep water (beginning of the incoming) way back in a creek, throwing a red 1/4 oz jighead with 4" chartreuse Gulp swimming mullet. Also caught an about 16" pike.

I have not seen any decent white perch in over 2 months...

Congrats to those of you still catching them....

Of course you're not going to catch White Perch....throwing 28 ounce Mojos at them.

Although its been a terrible year for me for keeper rock, its been a great year for perch. It looks like you did a great job finding them.

This time of the year the perch are usually schooled up tight on the bottom in pretty deep water (40'-70'). I've caught them on every drop while drifting for over 1/2 mile using stingsilvers.
