[QUOTE=Fish Nut;4371
5th Tuition, have you figured that ass thing out with the sassy shad?[/QUOTE]
Rob; I bought the "tool", but haven't tried using it yet. Alan (justchillin) has more practice working around anal openings and said he knew just what they were talking about and how to "thread it" to avoid the use of stingers ![EEK!](images/smilies/eek.gif) .
I'll wait until he "practices" on a couple ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif) .
Come on Spring.

I plan to mix up the spread and use everything in tandem.
My lighter parachutes will be paired with daisy chains so they stay shallow.
Most seasons I have 4-5 rods out with new or experimental lures. They get 3-4 trips to catch - if not , the lure is put away until next year.
I might try pulling a few umbrellas - I feel the vibration of a big spread of lures does draw fish in.
Be sure to read the letter of the new law. Let's just say , haste makes waste

Don; that still leaves me with 6 rods to figure our what to run on them ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif) .
Dummy lines are not rods and therefore don't count ![EEK!](images/smilies/eek.gif) .

I have not read the law in detail, but wonder if you could run teasers legally without a hook plus your 6 rods.
Instead of trolling I may just LTJ for the fish from the Flats to Solomon's. The DNR does not seem to care about LTJing and I hear its Ripping at the secret spot right now.

other side............board out 2 miles with gill net stretched from end to end

Actually if you use a Gill net, you now can catch more, run more net, keep more fish, and your size limit has been lowered...JUST DON'T RELEASE ANY, C&R KILLS FISH

Not that I've read the fine print but the limit is six lines.
Dummy lines count
Teasers are legal - no rule that I see addresses them.
I've had Rock grab hold of the umbrella teaser and hold on almost to the boat. Reeling it in - could tell something was wrong - the rig was coming in almost sideways. Fish spit the teaser out about 25 feet from the boat.
